The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Eng Mai Al-Massad, will adhere to the recommendations of the fact-finding committee which was formed according to Ministerial Resolution No. 59 of 2022 regarding the two contracts for the Criminal Evidence Building and the five centers project for the Ministry of Commerce, which came as a road map for implementing the Ministry’s projects and not delaying them in their various stages.

Eng Al-Massad, in a letter stressed on the recommendations of the committee, which included 16 items, to adhere to the contractual terms and specifications when approving the materials, not to allow the entry of any materials that violate the contract and to remove them immediately, and the obligation of the supervising engineer not to issue any order to the contractor to use alternative materials except after presenting the matter to the contract engineer in accordance with the applicable regulations, reports Al-Jarida daily.

She confirmed that the contractor cannot supply and store any equipment or devices until after the building was fully finished and the electric current was connected, with the need to involve the beneficiary in approving and receiving these equipment and devices
