The Ministry of Public Works is intensifying its efforts to obtain the approval of the Central Agency for Public Tenders regarding roads and roundabouts maintenance in various regions.
Informed sources in the Ministry told Al-Rai that the ministry has sent documents of two additional works to the agency, in addition to the four works that the ministry sent last week related to the maintenance of roads and similar works.
The sources stated that the ministry is making great efforts to complete the CAPT approvals, in preparation for signing contracts with the winning parties, especially since the awarding procedures were greatly hampered in the past.
In parallel, the sources indicated that the ministry is in the process of issuing a tender for infrastructure improvement works in the Surra, Qortuba and Yarmouk regions.
