MP Abdulkareem Al-Kandari asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ask the Egyptian, Philippine, Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi embassies to help their nationals; instead of being content with watching the situation silently.
Meanwhile MP Al-Humaidi Al-Subai’e attributed the chaos that Kuwait is currently experiencing to the lopsided demographic structure. He pointed out the rising number of expatriates is due to the protection provided by influential persons in some public institutions to visa traders. He then stressed the importance of taking legal action against all those involved in such unscrupulous acts, including ministers and MPs.
