Morgan Stanley has added the Gulf Bank to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index in the semi-annual review of the Kuwait Stock Exchange.
The semi-annual review also included the shares of a bank and 3 companies in the “Morgan Stanley” index of small and medium stocks — the National Commercial Bank, Real Estate, Jazeera Airways and National Investments, reports a local Arabic daily.
The review did not include delisting any of the Kuwaiti shares listed on the index. At the same time, as part of its semi-annual review of the Saudi Stock Exchange, the corporation canceled the shares of Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets and the Tawuniya Insurance Company from the global benchmark “MSCI” index.
