The coronavirus death toll is climbing worldwide — but so is its recovery rate.

More than 60,000 people globally have bounced back from COVID-19 disease since it was first reported in December.

Of the more than 111,000 total cases reported as of Monday afternoon, more than 62,000 people have recovered, the vast majority of whom are in China, where the virus originated.

In total, global media reports that the deadly virus, also known as COVID-19, has been reported in 109 countries, including Kuwait.

In Iran, where 7,161 cases have emerged, 2,394 people have recovered.

People who don’t suffer from underlying conditions and are not elderly are generally expected to recover, Says experts
