Ministry of Interior (MoI), on Monday, called on those with expired visit visas or residencies to leave the country before November 30 to avoid legal consequences. In a statement, the ministry urged those with expired visit visas or residencies to hasten to amend their status or leave the country before November 30. It also called on employers to amend the status of their employees through the ministry’s website or at the residency affairs departments in the governorates.

The ministry indicated that it will initiate all legal procedures against the violators after the expiry of the ministerial deadline specified in the ministerial decision on November 30, and will deport the violators, which will prevent them from returning to the country.
