Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior said Thursday the measures to start the extradition process of illegal residents of Bangladeshi nationality this Saturday and Indian nationality start from Thursday, April 16 to Monday, April 20.

The measures are in keeping with the cabinet decree to deport the expatriates who have no valid legal residency without paying any fines or footing the bill for their flight tickets, according to a press release from the Ministry’s public relations and security media department.

The potential deportees are entitled to come back to Kuwait in the future after coordination with the competent authorities, the statement pointed out.

Al-Farwaniyah primary school (girls), Area 1, St. 76, has been designated as temporary dwelling for male deportees pending their departure and Al-Muthanna primary school (boys), Area 1, St. 122, for females.

They will open doors for receiving the deportees from 8:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., the statement added.
