The General Administration of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior notes that the General Administration of Civil Defense will conduct the second trial operation of the sirens in all governorates of Kuwait, Tuesday, at 10:00 am, in order to determine the readiness and efficiency of the sirens and to familiarize everyone with the three tones that they sound during emergency situations and based on this the instructions that must be followed.
Everyone must abide by this practice, as the first “intermittent” tone indicates the imminent danger, the second (wavy) tone indicates the occurrence of danger, and the third (continuous) tone indicates that everything is clear.
Each tone will also be followed by an introductory voice messages in Arabic and English.
