The Ministry of Interior has requested the Kuwait Municipality not to grant any licenses for temporary trade fairs in public parks located within residential areas and model housing areas.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas, said in a letter to the Municipality, which has also been circulated to the hygiene departments of municipality branches in all governorates in public interest and from the security point of view, reports a local Arabic daily.
Al-Barjas also said one of the reasons is it causes severe traffic congestion, disrupts traffic, causes discomfort for others, leads to quarrels and confrontations at such sites, harassment to homes near the site, causes damage to gardens (trees and plants) leads to waste dumping and the organizes leave the place unclean,
