As part of the Ministry of Interior’s preparations for the celebrations of the national holidays, MoI Undersecretary Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas chaired a security meeting on Tuesday in the presence of assistant undersecretaries and general directors to review the final security preparations for the national holidays.

According to Al Qabas, Lieutenant General Al-Barjas expressed appreciation for the officials’ efforts in preserving the security of the country, and listened to a brief explanation of the security and traffic plan, as well as its compatibility with the organizational plan to secure the celebrations. He reviewed with field agents the most prominent features of their security and precautionary plans, the level of coordination and integration with the participating sectors, and the distribution and security deployment plans. In addition, the officials discussed the implementation mechanisms of each security directorate’s stationing patrols, as well as the scope of their coverage.

The official stressed the need for vigilance and full readiness, and dealing firmly with any lawlessness or inappropriate behavior, as well as dealing first-hand with traffic jams, obstruction of traffic, and reckless behavior. He called on security officers to be committed to exemplifying kindness and patience, and providing humanitarian assistance to the public, especially those with special needs and the elderly.
