The Ministry of Interior is considering making exceptions to the rule that female visitors to Kuwait must provide a medical certificate indicating that they are not pregnant, Al-Anbaa daily reported.

The concerned authorities have submitted a request to the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization and Residency Affairs, stressing that there are some special cases that the administration considers exempt from the requirement to bring a medical certificate. These cases include domestic workers accompanied by GCC citizens, domestic workers accompanied by diplomats, females under the age of 16 and over 50, and foreigners with electronic visas.
