Assistant Undersecretary for Press, Publishing and Publications at the Ministry of Information, Lafi Al-Subaie, said, Friday, the ministry is keen to organize the process of media statements at the headquarters of the Elections Registration Department, noting that work is underway in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior to control the process.
Al-Subaie told Al-Qabas during his inspection visit to the Elections Registration Department media center, that it was agreed with officials in the Interior Ministry that the organization within the headquarters of the media center falls within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Information in accordance with the media laws in this regard, and that the Ministry of Interior applies its laws to those who violate the organizational process outside the media center.
He called on all media representatives to contribute to the success of the registration process and the procedures followed to show the democratic wedding in the most beautiful way.
