The Ministry of Health said it is in constant contact with the medical team treating a patient suffering from leukemia, and that it receives reports on latest developments and is also in contact with the families of the young man.
This came after the report was circulated on the social media and the ministry said the patient is receiving health care at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center. The ministry told a local Arabic daily, the team treating the patient spares no effort in providing the best means of health care required during the early stages of the disease through the treatment stage.
The ministry affirmed its keenness to follow up the matter in what it called ‘real time’, and all the challenges related to the disease, and to overcome it in cooperation with the concerned authorities, by providing all support, ways and means of health care for the patient and his family, and wishing him a speedy recovery.
