The total number of those clearing quarantine for the coronavirus (COVID-19) reached 564 individuals in Kuwait, while three new cases of recovery brings the number of those overcoming global-spreading disease to 12, said the Health Ministry Monday.

In a press conference, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad affirmed that the new promising data suggested that the measures carried out by Kuwait, in line with World Health Organization, were bearing fruit. This does not mean that the fight is over, said Dr. Al-Sanad who called on citizens and expatriates alike to continue remaining in their homes and follow up on the Health Ministry’s directives and updates.

He noted that the number of swipes and tests carried out so far had reached 9,981, adding that there were still four patients in the ICU with one stable case and three others considered to be critical.
