The Ministry of Health has obtained approval from the regulatory authorities to float the tender for the project of establishing, completing and maintaining the Kabd Health Center, affiliated to the Jahra Health District, after re-examining the tender request again, noting that it is one of the important future projects, and serves large segments in the region.
The health sources pointed out that the aforementioned area is inhabited by a significant number of expatriate workers, as well as citizens who visit the area especially during official holidays and the weekend, explaining that this requires providing the best medical services in the health center, reports a local Arabic daily.
The sources pointed to about 20,000 expatriates working in about 11,000 farm houses and farms live in the area, pointing out that the completion of the new health center project will ensure dealing with emergencies and accidents at any time, especially during the winter and summer holidays because of the difficulty in transferring cases to Farwaniya or Jahra hospitals for treatment.
