Ministry of Health has shut down 14 medical clinics in a span of just three days due to their violations of existing regulations and directives governing private medical facilities and clinics, reported Al-Qabas Daily.

According to health sources, a series of complaints regarding these clinics prompted the attention and intervention of Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi. The violations primarily revolved around the presence of individuals without the required specialization working in these clinics. Additionally, several of these establishments lacked the necessary health licenses issued by the relevant authorities.

The Ministry underlines the critical importance of adherence to laws and regulations governing medical facilities and clinics. This includes strict adherence to regulations for medical and assisting professions, which necessitate obtaining proper licenses to ensure the quality and safety of healthcare services provided to the public.
