With Kuwait witnessing heavy rainfall in several areas of Kuwait Friday, the Ministry of Health said the Kuwait Medical Emergency Services Department was fully prepared to deal with all reports, in addition to the readiness of emergency departments in public hospitals to receive casualties as a result of traffic accidents and others.
A health official told a local Arabic daily the EMS is working 24/7 to deal with any reports it receives from various regions, especially during heavy rainfall, when traffic accidents occur due to several reasons and pointed out the ambulances were on standby at vital junctures and along highways north and south of the country, to ensure rapid response in cases of emergencies.
