A diplomatic source said citizen Fahd Al-Marshad, who was trapped in Ukraine, has been contacted and was to arrive in Romania with the help of members of the Kuwaiti embassies in Kyiv and Bucharest.

The source told Al-Qabas that all citizens’ needs will be provided in order to facilitate their return to the country.

The source stated that the “Bedoun” student Abdullah Mayah also arrived in Romania and was handed a travel document to enable him to return to the country.

The source indicated that the student, Abdullah Mayah, contacted the Kuwait Embassy in Ukraine, and he entered Romania, and the document was given to him to enter Kuwait.

The source stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will spare no efforts to provide all assistance to Kuwaiti citizens abroad in light of the conditions created by the war between Russia and Ukraine.
