The Director of the General Services Department in the Ministry of Education, Firas Karch, announced the completion of the procedures for signing five cleaning contracts for all educational areas and one contract for providing guards to secure the schools.
A local Arabic daily quoting sources said the some of them will start work from Oct 1, 2022 and others at the beginning of January 2023.
Karch said that some school districts have been provided with more than 940 service assistants, while the interview and appointment procedures have been completed for them by the Services and Human Resources Departments.
