The Ministry of Education (MoE) fired 3 expat female music teachers for playing music in playing private parties outside the scope of work to earn extra money without obtaining permission from the ministry, Al Qabas reported quoting official sources.

The sources told the daily that the three teachers, who worked in the Ahmadi Educational District schools violated the legal regulations. Although they were previously warned and referred for investigation and a penalty decision was issued against them, they played in private concern again despite the penalty.

Sources stated that the first technical instructor for music education in the Ahmadi Educational District, Muhammad Al-Ajmi, referred the three teachers to the Legal Affairs Department in the region, and upon summoning them, they denied that they had performed any violation of the regulations and systems despite the presence of evidence and video filming.
