Minister of Commerce and Industry Fahd Al-Shariaan announced the ministry’s intention to “prevent the export of local poultry.”

On the other hand, he pointed out that there are 1,420 companies funded by the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, including 41 percent of commercial projects, 40 percent of services, 12 percent of industrial, 5 percent of craftsmen, and 2 percent of agricultural, reports a local Arabic daily.

During the symposium organized by the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Shariaan added that there are 350 projects registered in the national registry but not supported by the fund.

He pointed out that “the private sector is creative compared to government sector because the latter lacks the agility that enables young people to be creative.”
