The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said food distribution to frontline workers who supported the ministries of health and Interior in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic is not linked to the cash rewards.
The ministry said it has allocated 50 million dinars for ‘ration’ distribution for six months and is waiting for officials of the logistics department to complete the formalities.
The Al-Rai daily quoting sources said citizens will get their prescribed quota from normal outlets while a number of centers will be established in all governorates for the benefit of eligible expatriates.
