The Ministry of Communications is preparing to open next month the first two Government Malls in the western suburb of Abdullah Al-Mubarak in the Farwaniya Governorate, and the other in Sabah Al-Ahmad City in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, upon instructions and directives issued by the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Fahd Al-Shula.

Informed sources in the ministry told Al-Rai daily that the opening of the two centers comes as a continuation of the ministry’s plan to government malls in all governorates, noting the success of the experiment in the Liberation Tower in the Capital Governorate and in the Jaber Al-Ali and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and in Al-Jahra Governorate.

The sources indicated that the preparations are continuing, through coordination with the participating government agencies, to provide the best service, and to save time and effort and help visitors to complete all their transactions under one roof.

The sources mentioned the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications, Dr. Ahmed Al-Majren, has issued instructions to complete the remaining works in the two buildings, follow up the works, overcome all obstacles, and coordinate with the participating agencies to receive the two sites and start furnishing, and deliver services in preparation for the opening of the facilities.
