Despite the small turnout of children from 5 to 11 years old, those who were with their parents were seen sending messages to their friends not to miss the opportunity to take the vaccine for their own safety.
Al-Rai monitored the start of the campaign on the first day and met several children who came with their parents. One of the parents, citizen Fahd Ali Abbas, said he got an appointment to vaccinate his son a month ago. This is the right of our children, and I do not believe in the conspiracy theory because this epidemic is global. We do not know what will happen in the future in light of this mutating epidemic, and caution must be taken.” He thanked the Ministry of Health for taking the initiative to vaccinate the children and the whole process takes no more than 10 minutes.
His son, student Ali Fahd Abbas, sent a message to his fellow students, stating that “vaccination is beneficial for everyone, as it works to reduce the effects of infection with corona.”
The youngest child, Aisha Badr, said “the vaccination is good, and thank you to Kuwait.” Student Ezz Abdulaziz confirmed that he felt comfortable after taking the vaccination, “and whoever does not get the vaccine will get sick.” He told his schoolmates “Get vaccinated to protect yourselves.”
