A citizen was investigated by the Jahra police station following an alleged beating of an Egyptian nurse on duty at a specialized medical center, an Arab daily reported. The victim attached a medical report on the case file no. 19/2022 against the suspect who was charged for misdemeanor.
The security official reported that the 40-year old nurse in her testimony stated that while performing her duties, one of the patients, a Kuwaiti citizen, beat her while accompanying one of his sick relatives at a specialized medical center for undisclosed reason.
The defendant was released after giving a statement, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecutor’s office.
