As follow-up to what was previously published about the problem of ceasing buses for disabled students, the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani addressed the issue that has been pending since the beginning of the current academic year, according to an Arab daily.

In this regard, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Education, Ahmed Al-Wahida, urged to pay attention to the services provided to disabled students, and focus on the importance of school attendance, as well as the continuation of their education in a safe and stable environment.

Hence, the ministry announced that buses designated to transport students to and from these schools have resumed from Sunday, 6 November, and will gradually carry on until the numbers are completed, in order to provide a safe and appropriate means of transportation for the students.
