The Ministry of Social Affairs and the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) have signed an agreement to block and unblock electronic content in order to address the collection of illegal electronic donations, Alrai Media reported. The ceremony was attended by the representative of CITRA, Omar Al-Omar, and several leaders and officials from both agencies.
Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi said in a press statement that the agreement contributes to preserving the rights of donors and protecting the reputation of charitable work in Kuwait. He also praised the cooperation between the ministry and CITRA.
