In conjunction with the decision of the Council of Ministers to ease restrictions and health requirements related to the Corona pandemic, the Permanent National Committee for the Celebration of National Holidays and Occasions announced the extension of celebrations of national holidays until next March 31.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Information, Anwar Murad, told Al-Qabas the Celebration Committee has launched a national campaign to celebrate the national holidays 2022, under the slogan ‘A paradise for us all, decided to extend the programs, events, and activities of national celebrations of “the 61st National Day and the 31st Liberation Day”, until Thursday, March 31, noting that the committee seeks to add more joy and pride to national occasions, which is a cherished memory for every citizen and resident of Kuwait.

Murad revealed the celebration programs will be distinguished through performances that will be witnessed in all regions of the State of Kuwait, with the participation of various state institutions, including a presentation by the Ministry of Defense with the participation of the Ministry of Interior and the National Guard next to the Kuwait Towers, in addition to an air show by the Kuwaiti Air Force.

“There are special shows that will be held in the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, the Mubarakiya markets, public gardens, parks, and markets,” said the source.

In turn, the Permanent Committee for the Celebration of National Holidays and Occasions renewed its call to all citizens and residents to adhere to the health requirements that guarantee the safety of all, especially since health awareness has become a true expression of patriotism and patriotic behavior that contributes to preserving the safety of everyone who lives on the land of our dear homeland.
