The Ministry of Health is receiving transfer requests for the Ministry’s employees based on the decision issued by the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, which stipulates that the Ministry allows the movement of all employees once a year, in April.
A local Arabic daily said, the decision stipulates, when submitting the transfer request, this should be done on the prescribed form which indicates ‘transfer from’ and ‘transfer to’ provided it has the approval of the concerned assistant undersecretary. The requests must be submitted within the first fortnight of April.
The Ministry of Health has formed a committee to consider requests for transfers of employees between central departments and health regions, and it will decide on requests according to the need for work, and in accordance with the nature of health facilities, whether transferred from or to, and in a manner that achieves equitable distribution in the sectors of the Ministry.
Coordination will be made with the concerned authorities in the ministry, and the extent to which the employee requesting the transfer will benefit from the transferee will be determined in light of the job title, qualifications and scientific certificates obtained to maintain good service performance and work interest.
