The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, issued a ministerial decision assigning Dr. Hisham Ahmed Kalandar, the duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for External Health Services Affairs in addition to his work, in the framework of filling the vacancies for leadership positions in the Ministry.
The vacant leadership positions whose affairs are managed by assignment include the position of undersecretary, in addition to 10 positions at the level of assistant undersecretaries, out of 16 assistant undersecretaries, according to the new organizational structure of the ministry, reports Al-Rai daily.
The list of vacant sectors includes dentistry, support medical services, legal affairs, health care, public health, administrative affairs, engineering affairs and projects, digital health affairs, external health services affairs, and the position of Secretary General of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization.
And at the level of assignments to fill the vacancies in these sectors, Al-Awadi issued earlier decisions that included
— Assigning Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman Asad to carry out the tasks and duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs, in addition to his duties.
— Assigning Dr. Al-Mundhir Al-Hassawi to carry out the tasks and work of the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs, in addition to his duties.
— Assigning Dr. Nadia Juma to carry out the tasks and duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for Health Care Affairs, in addition to her duties.
— Assigning Dr. Yaqoub Al-Tamar to carry out the tasks and duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Support Services.
— Assigning Eng. Ibrahim Al Naham to carry out the duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs and Projects.
— Assigning Dr. Fatima Al-Najjar to carry out the tasks and duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, in addition to her duties as the Undersecretary for Special Medical Services.
— Assigning Hisham Al-Dulaimi to carry out the duties of the Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, in addition to his duties as Undersecretary for Financial Affairs.
— Assigning Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi to carry out the duties of the Undersecretary and the Secretary-General of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization, in addition to his duties as Undersecretary for Technical Affairs.
