Sources in the Ministry of Finance directed government agencies toward settling millions of
expenditures and deficits. The spending of the past two fiscal years has triggered a deficit.
As a result of this news, the government has allocated more funds in the budget for the annual emergency disbursement.
The budget changes cover the costs of appointing Kuwaiti graduates of universities and higher and middle institutes. This is in addition to the costs of selecting Kuwaitis who do not hold educational qualifications and the fees of jobs established to determine Kuwaitis. Kuwait will also allocate Funds for non-Kuwaitis, specifically in the areas that demand labour for work requirements and the costs resulting from the issuance of laws.
Furthermore, decrees and decisions issued by the competent authorities to the final judicial
rulings for the entitlement of an amount after the distribution of the budget link law.
