The Ministry of Education has signed 7 contracts for the operation and maintenance of alarm and fire networks in government schools, warehouses and educational areas.
A local Arabic daily said the contracts are worth 1.159 million dinars t a rate of 156,600 dinars per contract for a period of 3 years.
The Ministry’s conclusion of firefighting contracts comes after a series of fires that some of the schools were exposed to particularly warehouses and the department of supplies and stores in Sabhan region, in addition to getting ready for any emergency during the summer season.
