The Ministry of Social Affairs and Community Development has called on cooperative societies to adhere to the procedures stipulated in ministerial decisions, regulations and relevant circulars, including the provisions regulating the appointments for supervisory positions.
A local Arabic daily has learned, the ministry has responded to the request of the Union of Cooperative Societies to Kuwaitize the jobs in the supply branches, however, certain conditions are met in this regard – conditions issued in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce last August.
The sources stated this procedure contributes to tightening control over the food supplies.
