Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the rumors circulating on social media about registering and entering the data on ‘Sahel’ application of the Ministry of Commerce field to benefit from the free supply of food for the front rows are incorrect.
The ministry said the truth is that no procedure is required to register to obtain free supplies for the front row workers –citizens and residents — except to activate the civil ID on the ‘My Identity’ application and the disbursement is done based on the statements received from the ministries of Health and Interior.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, after following the necessary legal procedures, it raided an unlicensed store of the Ministry of Commerce, and arrested an unidentified person who used the place to store and sell counterfeit goods.
The Ministry of Commerce added large quantities of counterfeit clothes, shoes, bags, and leather products bearing well-known trademarks of the most famous international companies were found. Legal procedures have been initiated against the violator.
