The Ministry of Education has the finance sector of the ministry has approved 40 million dinars to pay end of service benefits to its 338 employees covered by compulsory retirement for 2020-2021, most of whom are educationists.
Al-Rai quoting education sources said the ministry has begun disbursing the money to those who have completed the retirement procedures. The ministry said, “There will be no delay in disbursing this money.”
Meanwhile, the sources denied there is a 400,000 dinars budget set aside for the national operetta that the Ministry of Education holds at Bayan Palace annually, on the occasion of the National and Liberation days saying the event will not be held for the third year in a row due to the repercussions of the corona crisis.
