His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received today at Dar Yamama, in the presence of His Highness, the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, the Prime Minister.
He presented to HH the Amir Dr. Muhammad Al-Faris Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; Ali Al-Mousa Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and Muhammad Obaid Al-Rajhi, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs and Minister of State for Youth Affairs who took the constitutional oath before His Highness on the occasion of their appointment in their new positions, reports a local Arabic daily quoting KUNA.
His Highness in his supreme directives called on the ministers to exert more efforts in the best interest and for the advancement of the country, stressing the need for constructive cooperation with the legislative authority to confront all challenges and push the wheel of development in order to achieve the hopes and aspirations of citizens and for the benefit and prosperity of all and to serve the country and citizens with all sincerity and dedication in accordance with their responsibilities.
The Amir stated the sworn in ministers are worthy of the trust and honesty bestowed upon them for the interest of their dear country, and wished them them continued success.
His Highness added, “We place all our confidence in the people of Kuwait,” stressing that serving the country is above everything.
In turn, Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled stressed that he and the ministers will do everything possible to implement His Highness’ directives and translate them into reality.
