The employees of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy have been eagerly awaiting the completion of the file for housing leadership positions that have remained vacant for several years.

Informed sources within the ministry have disclosed to Al-Rai that Minister Jassem Al-Ustad’s office has successfully collected the CVs of potential candidates for these leadership roles.

The next step is to submit them to the Civil Service Bureau for review and audit to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for the positions.

It is expected that Minister Al-Ustad will submit the names of candidates for the undersecretary and assistant undersecretary positions in various sectors of the ministry to the relevant authorities by the end of this week.

Once approved, these appointments will be issued, emphasizing the minister’s determination to select the most qualified individuals who fulfill all the required conditions. This move aims to promote progress and development within the ministry.

Additionally, the Minister has recently approved the promotion of 954 employees across different sectors within the Ministry through selection for promotion grades. This achievement has been attributed to the efforts of the dedicated individuals involved in the process.

The Minister’s approach reflects a keen focus on the importance of the human element as the driving force behind any development in the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy.

On a separate note, the ministry is taking proactive measures to address the expected surge in consumption rates due to the high temperatures, which are forecasted to reach record levels of 50 to 52 degrees Celsius. The level of alert will be raised to ensure appropriate measures are in place to handle the situation effectively.
