The Civil Service Commission said the decision of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman, to freeze some powers of the Director-General of the Public Authority for Manpower Ahmed Al-Mousa violates of the provisions of Decree Law No. 116 of 1992, Arabic daily Al Qabas reported.
The Employment Affairs Monitoring Sector of the CSC in a letter addressed to the Public Authority for Manpower stated the minister’s decision violated the Ministerial Resolution No. 176/36/2021.
The Civil Service Bureau has requested a response from the authority no later than 30 days from the date of the letter.
It is worth noting that Minister Al-Salman is the minister in charge of the Civil Service Bureau and the head of the Manpower Authority Council.
