The Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Mazen Al-Nahedh, denied the possibility of privatizing the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, an Arab daily reported. Al-Nahedh told the local paper that there is no truth to all the information circulating on the issue, confirming that the privatization of the mills company is out of the question.
Moreover, sources confirmed that KFMB has maintained leadership in the food industry through developing factories utilizing the latest technologies and scientific means. The paper added that KFMB has committed to internationally approved quality standards by international accreditation bodies, and gradually obtained the ISO 22000 certificate for its production facilities that cover all its factories and bakeries.
