The head of the Sabah Al-Ahmad City People’s Committee Turki Al-Osaimi said the Minister of Public Works, Eng. Ali Al-Mousa responded to the people’s request to spray the water swamps near the suburb of ‘D’ and ‘E’, to get rid of mosquitoes and insects.
Al-Osaimi told Al-Jarida he requested the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources to spray 100 liters of pesticides using four-wheel-drive vehicles belonging to PAAAFR in all sewers and rainwater collection areas in the vicinity of the city.
In a related context, Al-Osaimi said in coordination with the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport, the General Traffic Department, the Environment Public Authority, and the Kuwait Municipality camping near the fence on Al-Wafra Road has to prevent campers from pitching up their tents and urged them to move away for their own safety.
