As part of his follow-up of the development projects that are being implemented, the Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Mustafa Reda, paid a visit to the new Farwaniya Hospital project.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Ministry of Health said the minister’s visit comes within the framework of his keenness to follow up the work progress and the percentage of completion.
The visit also comes, the ministry said, within the framework of the keenness to strengthen the pillars of the development plan and the vision of ‘New Kuwait 2035’ with the aim of providing quality health services.
This is in addition to establishing infrastructure for a health system that provides health services in accordance with the best international standards, and increasing clinical capacity in hospitals, and promoting healthy lifestyles with the participation of all sectors of society.
The aim is also to develop and train the national workforce, generalize the use of modern information systems and technology in various fields of activities at the Ministry of Health, to improve the quality and raise the efficiency of the performance of health services provided by the state to the citizens.
