The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Muhammad Al-Faris, announced that the names of the Ministry of Electricity and Water employees who are entitled to the front-line and support rewards have been short-listed for the tremendous efforts they exerted to ensure power and water supply to the residents and citizens at the height of the pandemic between February 24 and May 31, 2020.
Minister Al-Faris added in a press statement, Sunday, that 11,000 employees are eligible for the reward, reports Al-Qabas daily.
He explained the Administrative Affairs sector is currently working to finalize the names in line with the observations made by the Civil Service Commission to avoid any ‘misunderstanding’.
He said he is keen about the issue and follows up on the issue until completion of the list and the amount is disbursed to the beneficiaries just like other institutions.
