The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf has asked the Kuwait University administration to form an investigation committee to find out if the doctor who showed videos during lecture at the College of Medicine has violated Law No 76 of 2019.
A local Arabic daily said the minister has asked for a report on the investigations as soon as possible.
The Acting Director-General of Kuwait University, Dr. Bader Al-Badawi, stated all measures will be taken by the investigation committee and those found guilty will be referred to a disciplinary board, stressing that the university will not hesitate to take the appropriate decision and said violation of public behavior is a redline which no one can cross.
Al-Badawi stressed the keenness of Kuwait University to deal with transparency, impartiality and legal frameworks, stressing its respect and appreciation for all its members — academic and supporting staff and the administrative body.
