The Ministry of Electricity and Water, based on a directive from Minister Eng Mutlaq Nayef Omar, begun extending the validity period of licenses regarding power supply in private housing from two to 4 years.
This approach, by the minister aims to facilitate the needs of citizens who own private housing, in addition to saving costs for applicants, which were paid at the end of the previously specified two-year license period only, reports Al-Anba daily.
This, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Networks, Saad Al-Rashidi, instructed the concerned departments to implement this immediately.
