The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced its units at Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery have resumed production after they were forced to shut down Monday evening.
The company said in a statement to a local Arabic daily that the work of these units returned to normal after the Public Authority for Industry resumed supplying the refinery with cooling water necessary to operate these units.
The KNPC confirmed that the refinery’s supplies of petroleum products destined for the local market were not affected as a result of this emergency shut down, and the export operations continued according to their usual program.
