The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Jassim Al-Ustad, said power has been restored to most of the areas where electricity was cut off, with the exception of some parts of Al-Nuzha and Al-Mansouriya, to which power is being restored.
The minister, who was present at the fire station in the suburb of Abdullah Al-Salem, explained that the Ministry was able, through emergency diesel generators, to supply the affected areas with power, and that all teams are currently working to address the defect that happened as a result of the fire, reports Al-Rai daily.
