The Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) is preparing to end the contract of 118 expatriate employees working in different sectors in various professions, in accordance with the plan of the Civil Service Bureau to replace expats with national workers in all state institutions, AL-Rai reported.

According to Informed sources, the daily reported that 59 employees have exceeded the period of 30 years, all the employees that are too be sacked are informed.

The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has requested for termination of the contracts of 626 expatriates employed in the government ministries in the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget.
