The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy is preparing to conduct an extensive rotation among managers, heads of departments and observers in various sectors in the ministry as part of the strategy for arranging the internal house by pumping new blood within those sectors and advancing the pace of achievement and development.
Informed sources in the ministry told Al-Anba daily that the rotation will extend to a large number of positions in various sectors, pointing out that it will be for the benefit of the employees in the first place and for the service of the ministry.
The sources indicated that initial lists of employees who will be moved to other department have been prepared and will soon be sent to the Civil Service Commission for observation with the aim of ensuring that the job specifications are appropriate with the professional, technical and administrative data of those who have been shortlisted.
The sources pointed out that after completing that study, the lists will be submitted to Undersecretary of the Minister Eng Maha Al-Asousi, and then to Minister Eng Mutlaq Al-Otaibi for opinion and approval.
Meanwhile, the sources revealed that the ministry is actively seeking to complete infrastructure works in many new sites and cities and said at the forefront is the residential city of Al-Mutla’a, where the Ministry is preparing to operate a new 400-kilovolt station within the schedule prepared for the operation of these stations, in order to ensure that they are completed on the specified dates for the speed of delivery of current to the various parts of the city and then to all consumers in the region next May 2, as the station is located in the “3E” area, which is the closest station, pointing out that there is coordination with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) to complete all energy and water infrastructure works in Al-Mutla’a.
