The Ministry of Electricity and Water said it has complete preparation for the organizational structure for all its sectors which will be submitted to the Kuwait University for review and matching the job description with each specialization, which then will be sent again to the ministry before forwarding the same to the Civil Service Commission.
Reliable sources told Al-Jarida daily that this is done based on the agreement signed previously by the ministry with the university to cooperate in the field of restructuring MEW and overhauling the organizational structure and job description for each organizational unit.
The MEW sources noted that the structure includes the creation of new departments, the most prominent of which include the renewable energy management.
On the other hand, the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr Jassim Al-Ustad met the senior officers of the ministry to discuss the plans and projects of all sectors, in the midst of assistant undersecretaries at all sectors reviewed the visions and plans in each sector.
Informed sources in the ministry said, “The assistant undersecretaries have provided an overview of their development projects included in the ministry’s plan, and the projects being implemented and others to be implemented in the future.”
In a separate context, the load index recorded, today, a slight increase in current consumption rates, recording more than 15,600 megawatts.
