The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has asked banks to add a service to help consumers pay their overdue bills.

The sources indicated the ministry justifies its request in this regard by saying it wants to assist its customers to pay the due amount through the currently available electronic channels, whether through websites, phone applications, etc., and help reduce time and effort of all those concerned, reports a local Arabic daily.
